Overview
A resort's outdoor spaces are where guests make memories. This free-form pool, framed by themed structures and lush planting, is designed to be as striking at night as by day, with lighting that turns the water into a centrepiece.
Approach
We planned the pool deck, landscape and lighting as a single experience — managing circulation, safety, shade and sight-lines from the rooms and restaurants, and choosing finishes that stand up to heavy use.
Outcome
An outdoor destination that extends the guest day into the evening and gives the resort a signature image. Hospitality design work of this kind earned Vivek Khurana the Achiever of Society Interiors Design Award in the Hotels & Resorts category.
